Purpose: Use this article to manually enroll learners onto an Event from the Event screen. This is the most common enrollment workflow for administrators.
Manual enrollment creates a Registration for the learner and links that learner to the Event. The registration can later be invoiced, redeemed with training tokens, or managed through the standard booking and registration lifecycle.

Add a student from the Event
Adding students from the Event screen is the fastest and most common way to enroll learners.
When adding a student, you must select how the registration will be paid. The registration can only use one payment method:
- Currency
- Training Tokens
- Training Pass
- Open the Event you want to add students to.
- Go to the Students tab.
- Click the Add button.
- Search for the Contact you want to enroll.
- Select the appropriate Price Level.
- Select the payment method (Currency or Token Type).
- If required, override the price for a custom amount.
- If the Event includes LMS access, set the learner’s Access Expire Date.
- Click OK to create the registration.
The learner will now appear in the Event’s Students list and a Registration will be created.
Add students using a Training Pass
If a learner has a Training Pass assigned, you can use it to enroll them in the Event.
- Open the Event.
- Select Add Student.
- Select the learner.
- Choose Access With → Training Pass.
- Select the appropriate pass.
- Click OK.
If a Training Pass does not appear in the list, the learner either does not have one assigned or the pass does not cover the selected training.
Add multiple students from the same Account
If several learners from the same organization are attending, you can add them to the same Registration. This allows one invoice or receipt to cover multiple students.
- Add the first student to create the Registration.
- Select the student in the Students list.
- Open View Registration.
- Select Add new student.
- Select another contact from the same Account.
- Select the Event and confirm.
- Repeat as needed.
This workflow allows one invoice (Currency) or receipt (Training Tokens) to cover the entire group.
Add unnamed students
Sometimes a booking is confirmed before the learner names are known. In these cases, you can register unnamed students.
Unnamed students allow enrollment to proceed while learner details are finalized later.
- Open the Event.
- Go to the Students tab.
- Select Add.
- Choose Unnamed Students.
- Enter the number of learners.
- Select the booking contact or Account.
- Select the price level.
- Confirm the registration.
Unnamed learners appear on the Event roster until they are associated with real contacts.
Associate unnamed students with contacts
When learner identities are confirmed, unnamed students can be associated with contacts in your CRM.
- Open the Event.
- Go to the Students tab.
- Select the unnamed student entry.
- Choose Associate with Contact.
- Select the correct Contact.
- Repeat for each learner.
After association, the learner behaves like a standard student record and can receive communications, attendance tracking, and certification.
After adding a student
Once a student is enrolled, you may want to:
- Invoice the registration
- Redeem training tokens
- Send enrollment communications
- Record attendance
- Manage results and certificates
