A schedule is a planning workspace in Scheduler. It defines the date range you’re planning for and holds the sessions or events you draft before creating and booking them into your live calendar.
Before you start
- Courses and course templates are configured
- Session templates exist for the courses you plan to schedule
- Instructors and resources are created (and availability is ideally maintained)
Create a new schedule
- Go to Training → Scheduler.
- Select Create schedule.
- Enter a schedule name.
- Set the start date and end date for your planning window.
- Select Create to open the schedule in the Scheduler workspace.
What happens next
After you create the schedule, you build your plan by adding sessions or events, assigning instructors and resources, and adjusting timing until the schedule is ready to publish.
Tips and common gotchas
- Keep the date range tight. Shorter ranges are easier to review and refine.
- You can create multiple schedules. Use separate schedules for different scenarios (for example, draft vs final).
- Nothing is live yet. A schedule remains a draft until you create and book draft events.
