- Considerations
When you subscribe to Administrate, you are provided with a live production instance that contains your organisation’s data, files, and configuration.
Identify your Administrate instance
You can recognise your instance by its URL. This will be either:
-
<subdomain>.administrateapp.com, or - A custom vanity domain, if your organisation has configured one.
You can log in by navigating directly to your instance URL in your browser.
Depending on your subscription, organisational structure, or testing requirements, you may have access to more than one Administrate instance (for example, separate production and test environments).
Logging in to the TMS
When logging in to the TMS, follow the standard Administrate login flow:
- Navigate to your Administrate instance URL.
- Enter your username or email address.
- Select Continue, then enter your password.
If you have forgotten your password, select Forgot password and follow the instructions sent to the email address associated with your user account.
Accessing your instance correctly
Always log in by navigating directly to your Administrate instance URL.
Attempting to access Administrate from generic entry points (such as the main Administrate website or outdated bookmarks) may lead to confusion or incorrect login flows.
If you are unsure which instance to use, confirm the correct URL with your system administrator before logging in.
Considerations
Bookmarks
Ensure any saved bookmarks point directly to your Administrate instance URL (for example, <subdomain>.administrateapp.com or your vanity domain). Incorrect bookmarks may take you to the wrong login page.
Password managers
During login, you may be redirected to identity.getadministrate.com to complete authentication. Some password managers may not automatically recognise or prefill credentials on redirected pages.
You can still use a password manager to store your credentials securely, but you may need to manually select them during login.
