Venues - various suggested improvements
It would be incredibly useful if you could filter/search by venue within the Events > Events screen (from the top of the homepage) or the calendar, to have easy visibility of where events are taking place without running a separate report.
Venues do not show within the calendar screen at all, nor is there a filter for them.
Within the events screen, there's no option to filter by venue and I can't even sort the visible events by clicking the 'venue' column. I receive the below error when I try:
"There was a problem
Please try reloading the page."
I would also like to be able to either a) create custom fields for venues, or b) have additional standard fields be available. For instance, I do not need longitute and latitude fields, but I would find it useful to have fields for the address and website. Currently, I add all the information to the venue 'description' text box, but you cannot format URLs as links and despite adding line breaks, these are not recognised when it pulls into a communication template. The result is that it can make communication templates look untidy or unprofessional.
Also: Venue information doesn't show within the learning path screen, which has led to the workaround of tweaking the event code slightly to be able to correctly identify events taking place at the same location but different venues.
