Usage and Implications
The default target fill rate serves as a guideline for event planners when creating Course Templates and Events.
Setting Target Fill Rate in Course Templates
- When creating or editing Course Templates, you have the option to specify the minimum and maximum number of places available for learners. Once you set a maximum number, a new field, "Target Fill Rate" becomes available.
- In this field, you can input the desired target fill rate for the course. This value serves as a default suggestion for events created based on this template.
Setting Target Fill Rate in Events
- On the Event, you can specify if the Event has a limited number of students and set a minimum and maximum number of learners
- You can then set the "Target Fill Rate"
- The target fill rate indicates the percentage of available places that the training team aims to fill for the event.
- Any shortfall in the number of registered students compared to the target will be highlighted as an issue. This notification will appear on both the Dashboard and the Event until the registration count meets or exceeds the specified target fill rate.
