Opening Communication Templates in new browser tabs
This refers to an issue which was introduced when Communication Template functionality was beefed-up reasonably recently: this problem did not exist within the legacy framework.
Occasionally I need to adjust communication templates en-masse, for instance updating a web link, or a series of custom field merge fields, which are common across multiple templates.
After searching for a common thread to identifiy all the templates I need to adjust, I cannot hold CTRL and click, use the middle mouse button, or right-click and select 'open in new tab' to get all of the templates I need to edit ready.
Instead I have to search for the required term, open an individual template and edit it, then navigate back to the main communication template screen, add my search criteria again, and scroll-down to the next template I need to adjust.
This is out-of-step with most other areas of ADM: I can open communication triggers, course templates, events etc in new tabs to ensure I don't have to re-enter search criteria.
A specific edit I've looked at today affects 37 different templates. I am saving the task for a quieter day!
