Tasks are reminders used to manage work across Administrate. Each Task is assigned a Type (for example, Call, Email, or Meeting).
Task Types let you define your own set of categories so Tasks align with your organization’s workflow and processes.
Task Types available when creating or editing a Task
Create a Task Type
- Navigate to the Control Panel and open Task Types.
- Click + Add Type.
- Enter a name for the Task Type.
- Click Save.
The new Task Type will appear in the list and be available when creating or editing Tasks.
Edit a Task Type
- Click the Task Type you want to edit.
- Update the name.
- Click Save.
Changes are applied immediately and reflected wherever the Task Type is used.
Delete a Task Type
- Click the Task Type you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
- Confirm by selecting OK.
The Task Type will be removed and will no longer be available for new Tasks. Existing Tasks using that Type will retain their historical values.
