Add resources from another location on an event

Resources are linked to locations. In our case, all rooms are configured as resources on certain locations.

With Covid, we often need to book multiple resources from different locations on one event. You can set a virtual classroom and a link, but you can't set resources to support that virtual classroom.

Eg: a remote training for students on location A with an instructor on location B. You want to

• book resource room A.1 on location A
• book resource beamer A.2 on location A
• book resource room B.1 on location B
• book resource camera B.2 on location B

The UI to add a resource to an event/sessions should allow you to overrule the filtering on location.

  btw: workaround is:

  • set event on location B
  • add resources of location B
  • update event to be location A
  • add resources of location A

  So it's just the UI that is blocking you on making the setup.
