Please change SurveyMonkey Collector naming pattern
I have a tiny request that would make the lives of anyone using the SurveyMonkey Integration so much easier.
Request: Please change the collector naming pattern so the Event ID# is at the very beginning or very end of the string.
Rationale:
Ok. With the SurveyMonkey integration, when you click the green Send button on an event, it generates two collectors in SurveyMonkey and names them "Administrate Event (<ID>) - <CollectorType> - <UserWhoClicked>". Please see the example below.
The Issue:
In addition to seeing individual responses, we want to see the overall responses for an event. This cannot be done in Administrate, it must be done in SurveyMonkey. The only way to isolate the responses for an individual event is to filter based on the collector. Let's say I need to filter based on the email collector for event 297. Look at the options in the screenshot below, can you tell which box to check? It's impossible since SurveyMonkey truncates the middle of the name, and that's where you've put the relevant information.
Suggested Solution:
Changing the pattern you use to name the collectors would help tremendously, because currently I have to go in and edit each one to be able to tell which is which for the filter. Possibly "Event <ID> <Type> - ADM - <User>", so an example would be "Event 297 email - ADM - Teresa Beary".
Thank you for your consideration!

Hi Teresa, thanks for this idea. I just want to make sure I understand one piece. You've said
"In addition to seeing individual responses, we want to see the overall responses for an event. This cannot be done in Administrate, it must be done in SurveyMonkey."
What is the output you're looking for when you speak of seeing the overall responses from the event? I am curious if there may be an other solution in the reporting engine.

Hi Troy,
I'd like to see the answer choices, grouped by question, where each answer choice shows the number of responses it received and the overall percentage for that question. Here's what it looks like in SurveyMonkey:
The graph would be awesome, but even ignoring that I'd like to at least see the data table below it of answer choices and responses.
I tried to use the Administrate reporting engine to reproduce this but I couldn't figure out the right combination of output columns to see anything other than yes/no had the student filled out the survey. If there's a way to do it in Administrate, I'd love to learn. Thanks!

Thanks to Administrate Support for helping me with the reporting engine. I was able to see answer choices for each student, but there's no way to sum the responses as shown above. On multiple response questions this makes it difficult to see which choices were most popular. I'd say having the collector naming pattern fixed would still be more helpful at this point because the analysis in SurveyMonkey is much more robust than what the Administrate reporting engine can currently offer. Thanks for investigating, but please still consider changing the collector names.
