GDPR compliance and web booking forms
GDPR will hit in May 2018. At the moment the web integrated booking form provided by Administrate does not have a checkbox that specifically asks for consent to use the collected data for marketing purposes.
This means that as from MAY 2018, unless you go back to every single booker with a request for consent then you can not legally use this data for marketing purposes.
This is a clumsy and unprofessional way to act.
Administrate needs to add this functionality as a matter of urgency.

Thank you Tracy, I'm interested to see how others are dealing with this as well. Our Wordpress plugin offering does have an area for your terms and conditions regarding how the learner's data will be used, but there is no additional option to let users opt into other ways that their data may be used such as marketing. I've had a few conversations with customers handling this differently with some opting for separate communication, some specifically looking to store an opt-out option for certain data uses and some with marketing opt-in options.
Who else here is looking to collect more choices from students about how you will use their data? We'd like to make updates for the most common cases. For others, using the custom fields may be the best route.
