Would also like this (as well as being able to cancel inactive events which is a similar issue that I've posted up elsewhere)

I would like this flexibility too as sometimes our events can be rescheduled rather than cancelled.

Is this available yet? It is something we would also like to have.

Do we have an update on this feature request?

Being able to revert courses back to provisional if delegates cancel or change dates would be very helpful. Also being able to add students to a draft booking would be useful as we often receive bookings for courses, but don't want to set them as confirmed until we have received a PO.

Hi everyone, thanks for the input.  We always read these, even though we can't act on every one of them.  This one is taking some discussion internally.  The reason the system doesn't allow reverting to draft from active is that the actions taken at each step are designed to be in an order.  For instance if you set a session schedule in draft mode, move to active and edit those sessions, then back to draft, the session scheduler doesn't have knowledge of the other information on the outline tab for sessions, and you could create conflicts.

Currently what we're doing is trying to outline what those cases are and what could go wrong if we allowed the active > draft flow.  It's possible this can be overcome, it's just not as simple as enabling the button. We're looking at options to ensure we don't create any new problems in the process.

I've already emailed in but I thought I'd add to this thread.

I have another need to amend 30 active events, because of limitations with the new system, I need to cancel all 30 and then recreate each one, instead of simply marking them as Draft, making a change and reactivating them.
