    Hi everyone,

Just to let you know we are taking your feedback into account and we do in fact have work in the pipeline to give you more control over what constitutes a 'Pass' (e.g. full attendance & LMS completion = pass) and whether or not a certificate is generated based on that criteria, so do keep an eye out for related features around Q2.

While I'm here, the more use cases we have the better when implementing these kinds of features. Please tell us more about the typical rules you have and why. For example, Pass = at least 75% session attendance (e.g. because the awarding body requires it) and an LMS score of above 90% (to demonstrate knowledge).

    Many thanks,

    Heather

    Hi There,

Thanks for the suggestion. It is really a good idea but since we have sessions for every event and we can mark attendance based on sessions, I am not sure how feasible it is going to be to list students based on attendance. However if you cancel the student if they haven't attended the event, the certificate page will not populate the cancelled students name on it.

    Hope this helps.

Cancelling the students wouldn't really work as this increases the admin work.

I'm not sure I understand why the attendance can't link to the certificates? If a student attends a session can you still choose to send a certificate for that session? Or is it the event certificate/attendance that causes the problem?

we have events overall several days and sometimes the delegate attends only one day, using the attendance options allows us to show what sessions the delegate attended. We would not be sending a certificate of attendance per our accreditation policy the delegate must attend at least 90% of the program.  It would be beneficial when using the attendance option that a certificate would not create if the delegate did not attend 100% of all sessions(days).

Also when delegates are exported it would not include delegates that did not attend 100% of the program.
