Notification of a new Web Order
When a new Web Order is made via my website and drops into the New Sales Opportunities system, I would like to receive an email notification to alert me of the new booking so that I can then go in and process the Order.

We agree that this would be a great feature to have. In some cases it may be hours before we remember to check the "Website Orders" page for new web orders. Currently with the help of our Outlook Calendars, we have a calendar reminder to check the Website Orders page. However with an email notification for each web registration, we could quickly process the order immediately upon receipt of the notification, thus the student would receive their confirmation sooner than later. Seems like a very reasonable feature.

This would be very helpful to ensure students receive their registration emails as soon as possible. If this is difficult to implement via email, perhaps a message in the message centre to selected users or the creation of a task for selected users could be used to notify of a web order?

Are you bookings coming in from a web order? Our bookings come in from our website and we send a booking confirmation to the booker, which is cc'd to us using a dedicated Inbox. This acts as our prompt that a booking has come in. Would that work for you? Our web developer sorted this for us.

It's impossible to know when bookings are being received from the website. This is incredibly frustrating and does not look very professional for the training provider when the customer has to ring you to let you know they have made a booking! I would have thought a complex system like Administrate would have this simple functionality - especially as it did previously with the web orders - seems like a step backwards. Very disappointing :-(
