    Thanks everyone, it's useful to see there's a lot of interest in this one. While it's not specifically on the roadmap at the moment, I'll see how it looks size-wise in case we can slot it in somewhere.

    Yes - this feature was available in the old system and we used it all the time, and would like it returned to the new system.

    Whilst the new events system has the option to send communications to the booking contact I also believe the option to default this within the communication trigger is ideal in addition to the above suggestion.

    Me to

    We do primarily B2B work so there's usually a booker in the mix who either wants all comms to go via them or to be cc'd on messages to their staff.

    Can we please get this added in again?

    Thanks for supporting on this feature. At the moment there is totally no way to keep a 3rd party in the loop for all email communication within training provider and the student. Most of the time we need keep their manager, partner or HR in the loop for training related matters. 

    Currently what my organization does is resend email from Event -> Students -> Communications. However this is not good idea because this will remove / overwrite status of email sent to 1st receiver.

    Doing that also means attachments won't be sent to the second person you send it to (there's another thread about changing this so attachments from templates are including when resending emails) so it's not a usable workaround for us.

    We also have a need for a cc function in the Triggers.   We send a short questionnaire to attendees, asking about their background and experience of topic, about their most/least important topics in the seminar.   We used to cc to instructor and ask them to reply to all.  Now we can't cc so we have to forward each and every response to the instructors.  A cc would be the simple solution, so hopefully that functionality is added soon.

    A CC and a BCC would be ideal.  The reason for the BCC is that I send an email to all of our Brokers to advertise on their websites and I do not want each broker to see the other brokers that I am using.

     

    Also when I email our candidates, I currently BCC our learner support email using an event email to ensure that I receive a copy as it is an email group and therefore CRM cannot track it).

    Hi everyone, thanks for suggesting this. We recently implemented the ability to add a Contact to cc into Student Emails (just go to Edit Student on an Event). I'll mark this as completed, but if there's any additional functionality you feel is needed here, please open a new forum post so we can more easily track it.

    Hi Administrate,

     

    Thank you for implementing the CC feature.

    Currently there are 2 CC fields, 1 in Edit Student, another CC field is in communication templates within Event -> Student -> Communication tab -> in email template.

    My question is what is the different between the 2 CC field?
