Allow courses to be selected/de-selected from Communication Triggers
You can now select multiple courses for a single communication trigger.
The list confusingly includes the unsupported compound courses, with no way of differentiating between compound and normal, but as selecting a compound course by mistake doesn't have an effect, it's not a major.
What is an issue, however, is that you can't select which courses a trigger does and doesn't apply to, once you have created it. The facility to modify, or at the very least add, to the list is essential.
As an example workflow - Stormforce Coaching are attempting to reduce the administrative burden of joining instructions, and currently with the Comms Triggers module as is, many things have to be done manually. A template has been created called 'Sail Cruising Courses', which has a format specific to those 'types' of events. There could be thirty courses to be included. If one course is later added to their portfolio, the whole trigger has to be deleted, and a new one built with 31 courses. The courses come up in a little tiny list box which shows 4 at a time, and are displayed as one long continuous line - it's so easy to miss things.
A further feature would be the ability to include courses and events into existing triggers, from the course definition or event themselves. So, for example, I create a trigger called 'Sail Cruising Joining Instructions'. I want to add a course into that trigger as it's a new course, so I go to the course description page, and add it from a list of existing course event triggers; no new one needed. I want to add an event into a trigger called 'send re-booking e-mail', so I go to the event page, and again select from a list of existing 'event' based triggers. Adding by course is the most relevant, adding by event would be convenient.
The feature request is - allow you to modify which courses a trigger applies to after you've created it.
The secondary suggestion is - allow applicable course and/or event triggers to be added on a case by case basis from the Course and Event pages.
