I think it would be great if we could colour rows in a report, this would help when reading through reports or working from them.
Conceptually I think it could work by having a new tab on the filters section, and allowing you to select a column, and then using the "begins/contains/starts with..." and a free text box, you would then choose which colour would be associated with that text, using a colour wheel or fixed pallette.
To prevent multiple conditions being met, you'd need to define either the first or last met condition would be used for the colouring.
So if, for instance, I had a report listing our upcoming events, and I wanted to colour the rows according to which location they are at, I would select the output column "location" and then add conditions for each location I wanted to colour eg:
"contains" = Birmingham - colour green
"contains" = Solihull - colour blue
"starts with" = S - colour red
then it would work through, and any time it finds the location Birmingham, that row would be coloured green, any with Solihull would be coloured blue and any that start with S would colour red (depending on how you setup the first or last condition, this would or would not include ones which have solihull). All others would be left grey.
