    This would be extremely useful to us too. We have numerous instances where we have bookings made by companies for unnamed delegates therefore the trigger does not work. An option in the trigger template to select account/contact, rather than just delegate ,would be excellent.

    I also agree. We took this system on and all our training courses are in-house training so I need to make contact with the person who booked the training and not the delegate.

    Goes without saying really - need to think of the commercial considerations first and the learners just after. We need both!

    Hi John,

    What is the eta on this release? It is causing a few issues for us as we have embraced the concept of communication triggers which leaves very little flexibility other than setting all delegates to the booking contact.

    Being able to send different triggers to public events vs IHT events would be fantastic as well!

    I can see that this was planned last June... John - what's the status of triggers (a) sending to booker, not delegate (we currently have to change the email address on the trigger manually to send to third party vendor bookers) and (b) IHT versus public course triggers.  Thanks.

    Hi Donna,

    If it's any help to you we now use the booking contact option that you can select in the trigger setup page. I believe they added this a few months back?

    As an aside, Whilst we can send it to unnamed delegates as soon as we add a delegate name there is still no option to send to the booking contact instead of the delegate. For example we have John Smith as a delegate but all communications should go to the Booking contact. We would have to set John Smith's email to the booking contact which is still quite archaic and goes against the concept of these automated emails.

    Perhaps a more ideal system would be to have an option where we can send the email to the primary contact on the account?

    Is this request would allow the ability of sending Certificates to a single contact for an In-House Training Event?

    The possibility to send into only 1 email (so only 1 mail adress), 1 file attachment only of all the Deleguates’ In-House Certificates of an Event?

    As for an exemple, there is only 1 person in charge of all the Delegates of an In-House Event, the Director. We need to send to the Director, all his employee’s Certificates, into 1 email, as 1 file attachment. So the Director can print the Certificates and distribute them to its team.
