Translation feature for Course Template Text fields

As of now its possible to translate a communication template into different languages, in order serve different customer segments from different parts of world a translation function in different languages should be possible for course template text fields (including custom text fields).

Use case:

As Training Manager i would like to publish my course on Weblink/Webshop in different languages which includes course description fields (stock fields) and custom text fields i.e. "Trainer Profile".

In order to do so, as of now i will have to create separate course templates for each translation, and publish them. This costs time in training operations and increases complexity to manage the courses. 

If we would have the possibility to insert text in same text field for different languages and we are able to read the langauge flag (en, fr etc.) over API, we could maintain only one course template for different target groups. 

Idea:

For example; i am able to enter "Course Description" in multiple languages for same course template and these texts are readable through API based on language flag.

  Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately, this is not something on our radar and is not planned to be in the next 12 months. If anything changes on that front or workarounds come up, we’ll be sure to let you know on this post.

  An option is perhaps creating 3 custom fields, ex. coursedescription_en, coursedescription_fr, coursedescription_nl, and use that to retrieve the description based on the language. Thus removing the need to create different Course Templates for different languages.
