Updating/saving changed fields when you cancel a registration

We have a custom field storing cancellation terms.

If you cancel a registration, it would be good if any changes made to that registration were saved automatically as part of the cancellation.  At the moment we have to edit the registration to update the cancellation terms.  Save it and then edit it again to cancel it.

  Thanks for getting in touch. Could you provide a screenshot or deeper example of what you are changing at the registration level when cancelling?

  In the above window, if you change the cancellation terms, or any other custom field, and then click "Cancel student" you lose the changes you have made.  You have to save it, which shuts down the window and the open it again to cancel.  Having an auto-save, or a save but don't close button, would speed things up.
