login | add feature for super-user to impersonate users and lms learners

We need to be able to log in as both backend users and LMS learners so our super users can support our learners and backend users effectively.  The workaround provided by support for impersonating a backend user was to create admin user for testing purposes, but that is not feasible as that would involve having new users created via IT for SSO usage (which isn't a simple ask).

  Hi Steven,

  The only workaround I can suggest would be to allow users to sign in with either SSO or a username or password.

  Being able to "impersonate" a user on either the LMS or TMS is not something on our radar and is not planned to be in the next 12 months. If anything changes on that front or workarounds come up, we’ll be sure to let you know on this post. Comments have now been closed on this, however it still remains open to voting from other organizations.
