Kick off the conversation... We will try and provide technical and non technical solutions for ideas submitted. But often customers have already implemented something that solves the problem. If someone comments on your post, you'll receive a notification via email. Likewise when someone upvotes your idea.
FAQ
Q: What information should I include in my post?
Answering all the following questions helps our Product Committee to understand your request and the impact it will make:
- What is the business problem you are trying to solve?
- How is this problem currently being addressed?
- What is the specific value you hope to gain from this new feature?
- Are there any other similar products or features that you've seen that you like or dislike?
- How urgent is this feature for your business?
- How will you measure the success of this feature?
- Is there any other information or feedback you'd like to share that will help us better understand your needs?
Q: How often are the ideas checked by Administrate?
Any new ideas are reviewed at least weekly by our Product & Customer Success team
Q: What are the potential outcomes of posting an idea?
"Gauging Interest" - The idea is something we feel has value to other customers, but we are testing that assumption by promoting this post and speaking to other customers about it
"Roadmap" - The idea is already on our roadmap. For an estimated release month, please contact support or check out our public facing roadmap
"Available" - The idea already exists in our platform. We will comment with the relevant support documentation.
"Deferred" - The idea is not something we are planning to implement in the next 12 months.
Q: When I filter, the labels above are not listed. Instead I see Planned, Not Planned, Completed & Answered. Do they map?
Yes. Unfortunately, this is a limitation of the forum that our partner at Zendesk are aware of. Here's how we map:
- Planned = Roadmap
- Not planned = Deferred
- Completed = Available
- Answered = Gauging Interest
Q: How can I get more traction on my idea from other customers?
Speak to your CSM or our support team and ensure you have demonstrated the business impact it will have to your organization. If you see other people posting, reach out to them here or on social media and discuss your problems and see what synergy there is.
Q: How can I see your latest roadmap?
We send out a monthly Product Recap video on a monthly basis. You can see the historic ones here. Within that we discuss our roadmap and what it looks like. Be sure to 'follow' the section to get all the updates.
Q: How will I know if my idea has been built?
You will be informed by our Product and Customer Success team via your original post.
Q: My Idea has been tagged with "Roadmap" for a few months, but nothing has been released
We plan our roadmap out for 12 months and review and iterate on it every quarter. It is likely your idea is still being assessed by the team but we see value in what it will achieve. It is also possible for things to drop off the roadmap as they compete with other priorities. To see where on our roadmap it sits, refer to our historic roadmap videos here or reach out to Support.
