Features
-
WebLink Portals and Widgets now support user authentication. You can configure your WebLink Portal to enable authentication which will require users to sign in or create an account upon checkout.
-
We added an option to set Courses & Learning paths as “Featured” on Portals. You can use this feature to promote certain content above others, as featured content is always displayed at the top of a Catalog.
The cards of Courses & Learning Paths that are set as featured will show a “Featured” label when viewing them on WebLink and LMS Portals.
Product Updates
-
We added a new column on the Sales Statements screen to display the amount due of an Invoice.
-
We added a link in the Transactions list of Training Tokens to the Event that was purchased with tokens.
-
We have simplified the status labels for invoices on the Sales Statement screen. We now show either:
- “Paid” if the Invoice has been fully paid (this replaces the previous “Cleared on…” and “Uncleared” payment statuses),
- “Unpaid”,
- “Overpaid”, or
- “Partially Paid”.
Fixes
Configuration
-
We added a new permission to the Control Panel named
Events - View Documents
to show or hide Documents on Events. Existing users have been granted this permission to avoid any disruption.
CRM
-
We fixed the name of the User that is displayed in the “Events” list on an Account or Contact after transferring that student to another event, and it will no longer show “Cancelled by Unknown“.
Financials
-
We fixed an issue where the “Receive Payment” screen would sometimes allow you to select an already paid Invoice when allocating a new payment.
Portals (LMS, WebLink)
-
We fixed the formatting of the password reset link that is included in the default email for LMS Portals and could break in certain email apps. The default email is sent only when no other Communication Template has been set up for this.
Reports
-
We fixed an issue with the “Result” column on Reports using the Event entity so that the numbers of “Pass/Fail” are correctly counted.
-
Custom Fields that are deleted can no longer be added to Reports. Any deleted Custom Field that has been added prior to it being deleted will still be included in that specific Report until it is removed from the “Output Columns” and “Filter Conditions”.
TMS
-
We fixed an issue when creating an Event from a Course Template that caused any Custom Fields whose type is “Checkbox” to show no value, even when a value was saved on the Course Template.
