Objective Registration (beta)
The Objective Registration feature provides visibility to the user on learners that have been registered onto a Learning Path but have not been registered onto a specific Event. It also allows a user to make bulk student registrations when transitioning a Course Objective to an Event Objective and to easily create Events if there are none available.
What is it for?
- A single dashboard to provide an overview of learners that are registered onto a Learning Path Course Objective, but have not yet been registered onto a specific Event Objective
- A tool to quickly register learners onto events
- Flexibility to ensure the correct learners are registered onto events at the correct time
- To identify gaps in your future schedule and allowing the user to quickly create new events to fill those gaps
Overview
The overview identifies the number of learners that have not been registered for an Event and also indicates the number of Available Events for that particular Course. If you are using the Workplaces feature, then it also highlights the number of learners that are available for the Locations configured in the Workplace.
Registration
To register learners onto an event, simply select a row of Learners to register and it will open up a screen similar to below.
You can select an available Event from the list on the left-hand side of the screen. You are able to filter it down to a specific date range to give you greater control.
For Learners, you can use the filter conditions to display the exact list of learners you wish to add to the event. Simply select the number of Learners as well as the Event and click on Register.
The Learner will now be registered for the Event and will no longer be displayed on this list. You can repeat this until you have registered all Learners onto an Event.
Event Assistant
If there are no Events available for this particular Course, you can use the Event Assistant to help you create a new Event.
The Event Assistant will provide you with an overview of when Learners are available to ensure you create an Event that satisfies the greatest number of possible Learners.
You need to select a Start Date and the Length for Learner Availability. The Event Assistant will then populate the Availability on the Calendar with a visual representation to Available Learners for that day. When you select a particular date on the Calendar, the times that the Learners are available will be represented down the right-hand column.
To create the Event, you will need to provide a Start Time and it will inform you of the number of Learners that available at the particular time. You can then continue and it will assist you in creating the Event.
Once you have created the Event, you can click Back to Learning Path Registration and it will take you back to the table.
The new Event will be there and you will be able to register Learners directly onto the Event.
Continue the pattern of creating events and registering learners until all Learners have been registered onto an Event. The table will be empty at this point.
